Hi Van, Please tell us a little more about yourself and your business.

“I was born in Vietnam, Ho Chi Min City (Saigon). As a child I always dreamed of becoming a famous painter. Not sure if that would happen, I attended night school focusing of a business degree and the art of Feng Shui. While attending school my former husband and I started Southern Book Publishing, which he still operates. Shortly after that I worked to build an extraordinarily successful medical supply company. My family operates that company in Vietnam. In 2013 I was hired by a California based Semi-Conductor company to represent them in Vietnam. I was responsible for sales in Vietnam. My job brought me to California for training. I traveled between California and Vietnam for several years.

“I fell in love with this county during my training and knew I wanted to make it my second home. While working for the semiconductor company in 2015 I was able to open an Art Gallery in California, I traveled back and forth from Vietnam to California allowing me to establish myself in the Art community. In 2017 I left my sales job to focus on my art. Through my Art Gallery I met a beautiful Vietnamese woman from Key Largo, she invited me to come to Florida. While in Key Largo I met a wonderful, kind man. He became my business partner and graciously helped me open a Gallery in Stuart. I found the perfect location in Sewalls Point and the Gallery opened in 2018. My gallery, STAR ART offers my Feng Shui paintings carrying my one-of-a-kind ART. I apply Feng Shui to my paintings. In addition to the beauty of color and originality my paintings are meaningful, good fortune and happiness are bestowed to the owner. I incorporate US paper money and coin currencies in my original oil paintings adding to the value of my whimsical creations. I also carry beautiful jewelry and a complete line of hand embroidered clothing and accessories. Handbags, scarfs and jackets all hand embroidered.

When COVID came my business focus changed I started designing beautiful fashion embroidered masks. I also do print LOGO masks as well. I can do name embroidering and logo designs for staff uniforms, team uniforms, health care uniforms, Dr. and lab technician’s lab coats. I also offer logo polo shirts, logo hats and logo visors. Just about anything that you need a name or logo on I can do it quickly. I have done beautiful, printed masks for many companies: Alfa Romeo Car Co., Sewalls Point Police Department, Martin County Sheriffs Department, St. Lucie Sheriffs Dept, Anderson Middle School, Kyle G’s Restaurant, Conchy Joe’s, Dolphin Bar, Jan’s Place, Pietro’s , Josephine’s several nonprofits like Treasure Coast Food Bank, and many others. I am a proud Chamber of Commerce member. I just received the Jensen Beach Chamber 2020 Entrepreneur of the Year award. I am very honored to receive this recognition.

Since COVID I have received many orders for my embroidered and screen print logo masks. For my embroidery, I just brought in a machine that allows me to do embroidery special orders right here in my boutique. I can now accommodate any special order requiring embroidery. I can accommodate weddings, showers, graduation and birthday special requests, just bring me your request and I can help you design your one-of-a-kind treasure.

I invite everyone to stop by my boutique and see my work. I would like to help all businesses, county offices, schools, medical facilities spread their good name with a shirt, mask, hat or uniform.
