An Exclusive Interview with Angel Chavez, CEO of iCare Community Magazine

Still Spreading Grace in the Marketplace

ANGEL, PLEASE GIVE US A SHORT INTRODUCTION.

My name is Angel Rafael Chavez Abanto. That is my name found in all my Peruvian documents. I am original from Cajamarca, Peru. Which is in the northern Peru. I am the last of 9 siblings, 5 sisters and 3 brothers. I am the only one living in the USA. Some of them have come to visit from time to time. We love each other very much; we inherit it from mom and dad.

WHEN AND WHY DID YOU MOVE TO THE TREASURE COAST?

I came from Peru in 1979 to Miami and moved to the Treasure Coast in 2003, working with Auto Trader Magazines.

TELL US ABOUT YOUR FAMILY.

I am married to Margarita; she is from Colombia. We met in Miami in 1983. We have been married over 30 years. We have a son; his name is Isai. He has a Master from the University

of North Carolina, where he finished his Bachelors. He presently works for the City of Port St Lucie. And our daughter Priscilla, she is graduate from UCF, lives in Texas, working for Hyatt Hotels and she is getting marry in November, to Chandler, I call him Chan.

WHAT DO YOU LOVE ABOUT WHAT YOU DO?

Well, I love this land The United States of America. I love people in all variation and shapes and colors. We are all God’s unique creation. I think feeling anything different is an insult to God himself.

I love to see people smiling. When someone trust me with concerns or personal issues, I bring those issues to the Lord. I like to think that I help people believe and keep on believing. My goal is to present everyone to the Great Shepherd of our souls. Jesus of Nazareth.

WHAT IS YOUR POSITION ON THE CORONA VIRUS?

Well, in my book, in my heart, in my life and in my family, there is only one being worth wearing a corona and that is The Lord of Lords, The king of Kings, Jesus of Nazareth.

But times are proving that we are far from maturing. Last week I was at Tradition and I rushed into the ice cream place only by be turned away by the lady attendant. I gladly went back to my car and found my mask and came back. I do not want to be disobedient to the authority, nor disrespect anybody’s fears.

I came back, I carefully place myself in the 6 feet mark in the floor, waiting for my turn, right in front of me there was a young mom with her beautiful 2 or 3 year-old kid. The kid, as soon as he got his ice cream, he totally forgot about mask-rules. His mask was flying in the air and his little mouth and nose was in the ice cream. The mom was panicking along with the attendant and I could not hold it any longer. I said could you calm down. This little kid is healing this whole place with his breathing, would you leave him alone?

I do not know how my tone was, but everyone turned their face to the ground including an older man behind me in acceptance of their total lack of faith and knowledge of the truth.

As far as any Christian, first, we are temple of the Holy Spirit, God the Father, God the Son live in our spirit which is re-born and carries the resurrected nature of Jesus Christ. It is sad to see how some have lost their identity…

As far as I know every Christian’s breading, spreads healing, but It only works if you know it in your heart and act on it.

Consider this: Jesus said:

“He who believes and is baptized will be saved; but he who does not believe will be condemned. And these signs will follow those who believe: In My name they will cast out demons; they will speak with new tongues; they will take up serpents; and if they drink anything deadly, it will by no means hurt them; they will lay hands on the sick, and they will recover.”

Mark 16:

“Behold, I give you the authority to trample on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy, and nothing shall by any means hurt you”. Luke 19:19

Again: “By no means…”

Jesus said both statements personally!

WHAT ARE YOUR FUTURE PLANS?

First, I am grateful to John Gorman, Kari Monty, Gail Goldy, Dawn Goldy, Leigh Hitz, Georgia Binderow and Donna Huth; without their qualities and support it will be very difficult.

I am praying for someone who loves marketing and loves the community and has a vision and a plan to expand iCareCommunity to every County in the USA.
